The morning started with some of the best pineapple that I have ever had and some sad goodbyes. I am really going to miss all of the interns, especially Tyler. I saw a special soul in her. She had the travel itch that I got while on Cayos, a deeper connection to nature, a desire to listen and learn from other people, a kid-like quality as well as being an old soul, and an ability to be in tune with the universe. The boat ride back was smooth riding and those that were afraid of the ride were knocked out by their Dramamine. Meanwhile I rode on the bow of the boat and had a great nap. I can see myself doing pretty well on a live-aboard at some point in my life. When we reached la Ceiba we immediately hopped into a van that would take us on a 4 hour ride back to San Pedro Sula where we would be flying out the next morning.

The hotel we were staying in was called Monteolivos. It was weird to be back in air conditioning, on demand WiFi, beds with no bugs falling on you, and fluffy pillows. We started off our stay by ordering in 3 pizzas (1 for Olivia, and 2 for Codee, Grace, and myself). I have never appreciated Little Caesar's pizza more! The grease and the excessive amount of bread and lack of protein was amazing.
Afterwards Grace and I went to the mall with the boys and Dr. Gillman. It was really interesting at first but after 4 stories of bright lights, overwhelming sounds, and navigating the lack of English speakers left me overwhelmed an exhausted.

After being on Cayos Cochinos where were were no car horns, bright lights, and yelling all of this in one day was way too much. I was glad to be back in the hotel to say the least and a shower really helped a lot. Afterwards it was Hearthstone and Howl's moving Castle. I don't know whether I have mentioned it or not but Hearthstone s an online card game that all the guys got Olivia, Grace, and I hooked on. Thomas had gone out with Dr. Gilchrist and Gillman at a steakhouse and when they got back we got to enjoy some great Argentinian wine that "needed to be gotten rid of" before the plane ride. I have really enjoyed seeing the other side of a professor and hearing about such personal things like cats, their favorite bars, and good books they like to read.
We ended the night earlier and headed off dreading the 4am wake up call to the airport.
